Come see what happens in people’s lives when they discover God through the study of His Word, the Bible. Our classes meet weekly during the school year. Each class participant receives a course book with a commentary and home study questions. Each week, you’ll participate in small group discussions and a large group teaching. A few times during the year, each small group will share a meal together.

The Santa Fe evening Community Bible Study class meets on Tuesday evening at Christ Church Santa Fe from 7:15-8:45. We offer the following kinds of core groups:

Currently Studying: James, Genesis

We'll be studying two different books of the Bible this year, starting with six weeks on the brief letter of James, the brother of Jesus. This beautiful and challenging letter was written to encourage Jewish Christians scattered throughout the Empire to live out their faith amidst persecution and conflict.

For the rest of the year (24 weeks), we will dig into a brand-new study of the first 22 chapters of Genesis, the book of beginnings. Genesis reveals the nature of God as Creator and Redeemer of mankind, unfolding the history of God's relationship with Adam and Eve's offspring, specifically the family line that leads to Abraham and Isaac, through whom God intends to bless the whole human race.
